LineUp for NextPvr

LineUp is a configuration utility to select and apply Channel Bouquets from the Broadcasters and your Custom Channel List into NextPvr.

LineUp lets you choose your own Channel Numbers/Names, Merge different Broadcast sources into a single channel and assign EPG (XMLTV or OTA).

The initial release supports Satellite, Terrestrial and HdPvr.  Data is provided by EPG Collector and is processed into the NextPvr Database.  LineUp is designed to be run on a regular schedule and will maintain the NextPvr configuration as changes are detected in the data feed.

LineUp for NextPvr is a development of the original LineUp developed for the DVBLogic TVSource product.  It was developed from the UK Satellite feeds and should work where ever EPG Collector is able to create the requried data files (this was certainly the case with the TVSource version).

The initial release is version 21080 and is a complete rewrite.  This version should be treated as a Beta.  Full details are in the User Guide included in the ZIP Package.

A new version of LineUp for NextPvr has been posted to Sourceforge.

This version includes minor bug fixes and adds functionality to address cases where channels swap channel numbers and change channel names at the same time.  'Two Pass' processing also prevents channels from being split where there are two sources (eg DvbS and HdPvr) using channel range switching and where the 'HD' version of a new channel has a slightly different name to the base channel (usually due to broadcaster name length restrictions).

This is the first maintenance release of LineUp since I released it 2 years ago.  It does the job it was designed to do (automate the maintainance of the NextPvr Database with the Channel line up and Tuning as broadcast by the providers) and hence there is no need to produce regular updates!!
