I can't even get GraphEdit to show it's OSD, let alone do anything. (Note, GraphEdit is working when I play files in other players, just not when I do LiveTV using the Software addon).
After much screwing around, ive got an ATI AIW working..
sorta
Using Elecard Mpeg-2 Encoders, and ATI Multiplexer. Newest GBPVR Build, and both .17 and .19 of the software encoder...
BTW Norman, it apears Elecard has renamed the encoder/muxer....its doesnt show up in the list unless its changed in the config file...
I havent got sound working yet, as i cant seem to find how !@#$%^& ati filters work to get sound without routing a cable through my Nforce, which i seriouly dont wanna do...anyone got any sound on an AIW without a patch cable?
Also, im using a Barton 2500+ , and the recording is wicked jerky....thats shouldnt be...
is there a BPS setting around somewhere? 6000bps is a bit excessive, 4 would be better, take less cpu.
Can you send the full names of the new filters. I assume you're using version 4.0, and not 3.2.1?
If you want to do direct sound, then your drivers need to have a 'Audio' output pin. If there's no audio pin on the filter, then you'll have to use an external cable
You can set the quality of the recording in the configuration window. If the settings are not being used then I suspect it's because the new elecard encoders have different internal numbers. If you send me your log files - from during configuration, and actually doing a recording, then they have info that might help.
Im using the SoftwareRecorder Plugin and I can't get my WinTV-GO (878A) card to record audio. It works in MediaPortal, but I like GB-PVR better. I'm not getting any errors, but I'll post my logs just in case.
Nothing weird in those logs. (I see you found you can't use the same card and pin combination for video and audio). Are you using an external cable? If you mess around with mixer settings (like mute, etc) during recording do it change anything. Have you tried LiveTV in Preview mode yet?
There is a PCM Capture pin on the ATI Rage Theater Capture filter, but im unsure how it works, as i cant find any documentation anywhere. My guess is there is an intermediate filter that goes in there somewhere, but it wont render prorperly...
The quality setting create an error when i hit the edit button. selecting continue brings up a window that allows me to change the color space, resolution, but no bit rate....also bit rate for audio is missing...
