Odd behaviours in 5.2.1

There was mention in another thread (https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=63081) about problems in v5 versus v4 but my issues started when I went from 5.2.0 (or perhaps 5.1.4, can't remember) to 5.2.1.

I am using the NPVR client on Windows 10 with an MCE remote and have updated LAV to 0.75.1.

The things I have noticed are:
1) When selecting a recording in "Ready Recordings", the pop-up window takes a while to appear.
2) When selecting "play" there is a delay before it starts.
3) Audio syncing is way out and takes quite a long time to sort itself out when playing a recording and video is choppy.
4) When pressing "skip" the screen freezes for several moments before moving on.

Prior to 5.2.1 the actions mentioned in 1, 2 and 4 were pretty instantaneous and the audio syncing only took a couple of seconds.  1 and 2 seem to only be with the first recording after the client is launched, subsequent ones are fine.  The same files played with VLC do not show any of these behaviours.

Logs after reproducing all the above behaviours are attached but the delays did not seem so marked this time.

Any help/advice/suggestions would be gratefully received.  Thanks.

Stanno

Sub, 1, 2 and 4 could be explained if you are using mediainfo in NextPVR.exe not sure if it necessary or not.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I'm seeing items 2, 3 and 4 here since this latest update also, while watching recordings on the same PC that is the server. I have the LAV icons set to show in the taskbar when active and have also noticed that I now get FOUR LAV Audio icons when a recording is playing. Before this last update, I would only get one. Could that be part of the problem?

I started playback of a recording, then grabbed logs while it was playing.  4 LAV Audio icons on the taskbar and the pause on start and jumps, out of sync audio were present at the time.

What is your <OnlyIncludeMappedAudioDecodersForTS> set to in your config.xml? If it is 'true', does setting it to 'false' help?

I tried that before I posted (I did it via the Settings >Decoders screen, I assume that's the same thing) and it made no difference.

I'm also seeing Stanno's 3 and 4 issues, and they started with 5.2.1.  I'm using LAV 0.75.1 for everything.  After 5 days, MCEBuddy converts my .ts recordings to .mp4.  The 2 second freeze every time I press 'skip' only happens with .ts files.  'Skip' is instant with .mp4 files.

Hi sub, I changed it to false, then rebooted, and that doesn't seem to have made much difference.  Still have the audio sync issue, as well as LAV Audio starting 4 instances.  (This will only be seen if the setting to show the taskbar icons is enabled in the LAV Audio settings screen).

Can you post your logs now you've changed that setting?
