Can't find option to enable ATSC EPG

Brand new user here.

Running on Ubuntu Linux, based in the USA, HDHomeRun with ATSC 1.0.

I've got NextPVR installed and running.  I can tune into stations and playback is great, however I'm not able to get the EPG to populate.

I'm following the setup guide here https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/Setup-EPG#dvb-atsc

According to the guide, I should see "DVB/ATSC EPG" as a source option for my device, but what I see doesn't match the screenshot in the guide.  I don't see "DVB/ATSC EPG" as an option in the dropdown list at all.  My only options are:
None
Freesat (UK)
...Add Schedules Direct Lineup...
...Add XMLTV Lineup...

However, if I go to "Settings/Guide" I do see "DVB/ATSC EPG" with an option to change scanning frequency.

And if I go to "Settings/Channels/Advanced Tools/Auto Map" I do see "DVB/ATSC EPG"in the EPG Source dropdown.

If I go to Settings and click "Update EPG" it appears to start a scanning process that takes a few minutes, but ultimately it ends with a "EPG Update complete. [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]" message.

Sorry, ATSC EPG isn't supported on Linux.

That said, the ATSC EPG is absolute crap, with most channels having less than a day of listings. Most people in that part of the world get a Schedules Direct subscription, which give them multiple weeks of listings, artwork, season/episode info etc.

Ahh bummer. I really don't want to pay anyone for guide data, especially since I already dropped money on a lifetime Plex subscription.

I wonder if there's a way to export Plex's epg data to xmltv...

Maybe. I don't know.

The PMS database uses a custom sqlite version that makes everything Plex related way too difficult. Even if it could be done, you'd still need to write the code plus run Plex to grab the data everyday. There are scrappers zap2it, tvtv.us and and others plus HDHR's data but IMO none of them are worth the frustration that is saved by spending less than a cup of coffee a month for SD.
