Is there a way to create a manual recording with advance rules besides using SQLlite?

Just wondering if there's any update to the problem of not being able to do manual recordings using the web app?

What I need is to ba able to input a start and stop time.

On the Scheduler page of the web app, click the "+" button on the right hand side to create manual recording. You can select a channel, and start/top times etc.

Yeah that's probably not going to happen, that's why I offered the option. 

I do apologize though I didn't know this was a two year old thread but it still is not trivial to create an advanced rule with sqlite using the start and stop times and sub probably won't be changing that much.  Perhaps you aren't really wanting an advanced rule.
