is there any way of getting the green button to launch nextpvr. how's about a last channel button? Also is there way to stop a recording with using the mce remote, example i press the record button starts recording but can't stop the record until it finish's.

There is nothing built in that does this for you. I seem to remember there were 3rd party utilities that could be used to specify what the green button starts.

You can stop a recording from the recordings screen. (left/right to pending, and cancel from there)

Last channel is Ctrl-W so you need to figure out how to map it with MCE

Record is Ctrl-K and it is a toggle from the EPG, so again if that is mapped it should work.

Ah, you're right - I'd entirely forgot about this key combo.

I'd done a quick search in the code for 'lastChannel'...but it missed it because it was called previousChannel.

I use it a lot so I know it works.

I also found a server crashing bug testing Ctrl-K Start a recording via the EPG, go to recording and hit Ctrl-K on the in-progress recording. NextPVR responds with a delete not cancel prompt. Hit OK.
