I'm in a spot of bother...
NPVR failed to record Strictly Comes Dancing this evening. To rub salt into the deep wound, it recorded the F1 GP and Top Gear without problem...
Many kudos point lost..

I removed a bunch a duplicate re-occurring recordings that I had somehow managed to accumulate, removed and re-created the re-occurring schedule to record Strictly from next saturday 11 Dec onwards but it didn't appear in pending. A peak at the log shows that it thinks the upcoming recordings on 11th and 12th has already been deleted and hence no need to record it. This is incorrect as these are upcoming new live episodes.

I think the problem here that UniqueID "EP012802800594" is not really unique as the value is the same for todays episode as it is for next saturday.

NextPVR has to trust the unique show identifiers provided by Schedules Direct. Regardless of whether it thinks it was recently deleted, you can always schedule a one-off recording for whatever shows you need recorded. (the 'avoid duplicates' logic only applies to recurring recordings)

Also the original air date and the "Week 11" subtitle in your recently deleted seems to indicate that is this week's episode it seems like human error.

BTW your logs are a mess of problems, I'd focus on cleaning things up for now. They aren't even for this issue.

The show has been recording via a re-occurring recording for 2+ years now which it has done without any problem until today when my wife said "Where's Strictly?"
So I'm unsure how a manual one-off recording is relevant here or (to Martins comment) where the "human error" is .

if this is a SD ID problem I'll report it to them when I can have a moment. Meanwhile I deleted the RECENTLY_DELETED table. updated EPG and the shows are now scheduled.

BTW your logs are a mess of problems, I'd focus on cleaning things up for now. They aren't even for this issue.
yes I see some errors that don't appear to be related to this issue. I'm not sure what you are suggesting I do.

As for the issue, maybe I misunderstood the problem and yes report it to SD. Is the Week 11 show in two parts? You definitely deleted it yesterday

and next week looks like a rerun, with the final on the 18th, but it is flagged as New and it looks like SD should be calling it Week 12 S19E22

I reported this to SD when I noticed the issue on Saturday. There are four Strictly episodes (this Sat and Sun and next Sat and Sun) with exactly the same Episode number and Unique ID so NPVR recorded this Sat but then ignores the next three as duplicates unless you set a manual recording. There's nothing sub can do about bad SD data!

The seem to have made it worse, now "The Final" moved up to episode 25 from 23.

Sun 05 : S19E22 - Quarter final results
