Failed Recording??

I tried scheduled recording function of Nextpvr for the first time.

I set a recording for 12 hours but it is showing as 7 hours something in my recordings and it's been more than 1-2 hours it is still stuck at that but in the windows nextpvr browser it is showing as recording. 

Does My recording failed??

What should I do so that it doesn't repeat??

What are the files size for the recordings in C:\Users\Vaastav\Manual Recordings\

If they aren't zero do recordings work if you don't transcode your recordings after they finish?

That 7 hours 35 mins recording File Size is 22 GB And Before that there was nothing in that folder as it was my first recording. 
Nextpvr created Manual Recordings Folder Automatically, I Just changed the recordings saving folder. Also Yes The recordings Work Full 7 Hours 35 mins. In Simple Words For 7 hours 35 mins out of 12 Hours the recordings worked correctly without any issue and after that it stopped but in nextpvr browser it was showing as recording but no other data was being downloaded in C:\Users\Vaastav\Manual Recordings\  Folder.

I think you changed the setting to convert recordings after recordings. I was suggesting you should try with turning that off. That will be a huge transcoding job too.

For now I also suggest smaller tests, and using a direct play client like NextPVR.exe or Kodi.

How to change that settings??

I tried Smaller tests of 2 hours and 4 hours, They all are working fine without any issues.

On Settings->Transcoding the default options for recording. But I may be confused because I don't see any of those long recordings in your log and you might have been try to watch the recording in progress which is not a great experience in the web client and one reason why I suggested direct play clients.

The transcoding time and CPU for 2, 4 and 7 hour recordings is also a huge issue so if that is your requirement you really need a direct play client.

Alright I'll try With Direct Play Clients. Is there any guide on how to do so using Kodi??

Also I checked it isn't transcoding any video. It is directly downloading in my recordings folder by default.

On local host just install the NextPVR addon https://kodi.wiki/view/PVR/Basics and it should show your recordings. For Live TV you may want to enable Timeshifing.

You can also try NextPVR.exe that is already installed with NextPVR but you need to install and configure the LAV 32 decoder
