Tuner stuck

Hi all



I seem to have got a tuner stuck on CBeebies HD Channel.



Can't seem to find any reason why. Presumably restarting the docker would fix it, but I'm not constantly going to be on the lookout for this

You have an error in your configuration, the slip seconds is zero so it is causing a real problem with live TV. It is on Settings->General in Minutes. The default is 20.

Perhaps you were experimenting trying to reduce the tuning time but 0 is not good (and never be allowed by NextPVR) and that is really not where any tuning delay would occur.

This is the buffer, right?

I didn't particularly want a buffer being written to HDD at all times.

I don't seem to have any other ill effects; is it definitely due to this?

You can record with out a live tv buffer, but you can't use live tv without it. I'm not sure if this is your problem or not though - (wouldn't be surprised if it just ignored you trying to set it to zero).

Sorry you need to do it, it also spams the logs so you are still writing to the disk. Because of this we aren't able to see any other problem.

I don't seem to have any playing issues with it not writing a buffer.

It just appears to have got stuck on CBeebies; and seemingly only a single time

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it can't. It'll have buffer files there somewhere.

I linux you can delete a file that is in use so as the slip files get deleted it is possible you wouldn't see it from the visible file system.

I've basically removed the buffer string from settings and also removed and the passed volume as it is in docker;

If it is creating a buffer it must be elsewhere... I'll look into if that is the case

Do you think this is likely why it has got stuck
