Had more navigation issues. Was typing them up when I decided to see if switching from classic to modern in the config file would bring the ESC nav back the way it was, and it seems to.
Something in the last update messed up using ESC to back out of the classic navigation. So, how can I toggle the artwork off like it says in the comments?

Activate the hidden menu with the Home or Info remote button (or mouse over) and hit View. It will be set as default after that.

The old Recordings screen was broken into three separate screens, but from any point in those screens, it's the same number of keypresses or mouse clicks to get back to the menu. If you're in the recordings screen -> viewing a group of recordings -> viewing the details of an individual recordings, it's exact the same number of levels deep as it was in the old 'classic' menu layout. If you don't like the artwork screen, you can click 'view' in the menu and get back to list mode, like used in past releases.

The only difference is the grouped recordings list is now showing you pictures instead of works. If this was causing your machine to feel bogged down, maybe you're using a slow machine. There is no extra levels of screens you're using etc. Quote:So, how can I toggle the artwork off like it says in the comments?Just click 'view' in the menu.

Under Classic, I could watch a show, then hit stop (or esc). Takes you back to previous screen. The hit ESC button on remote or keyboard, and it takes you out a level to all Ready shows. That is now not working. You sit on the screen showing all episodes of a show.
So I now hit right arrow to go to What's New, then left arrow to go to Ready list of all shows. I have been using Classic, not Modern.

I classic mode I can duplicate this, play isn't needed
Select a recording from the recording list and hit ESC it doesn't work, you are stuck on a recording and you have to exit via the hidden menu. Martin

Ok, you definitely did not do a good job describing that, but I can now see the issue you were trying to describe. We're no longer actively testing with the old classic mode, so just didn't notice it.
This updated dll should resolve the issue for you. |
