C# 'cannot find part of the path' error

Starting to play around with plugin dev and getting stressed with C# (used to VB and Java). Why when I write this in C#

curArtistPath= (@"C:\")

its ok. but when I write this

curArtistPath= (@"C:\plugintest\")

i get a "cannot find part of the path" error

dont worry, fixed it. was using directory.name instread of directory.fullname

Hmm... Coincidentally, that's exactly the error that I'm getting right now in the recording service log when GBPVR tries to start a recording.

Check the file access rights on the access database (gbpvr.mdb).
