I didn't really think this was "every weird thing someone might ask for", since it's been a feature in V4 for a long time.
That said, don't waste any time on it if it's no use to anyone else.

Ok "weird" probably wasn't the best word.

What I was meaning was that there always someone that wants something to behave a different way, and it's hard to justify the time/effort to make settings for all these one-off requests.

The nextpvr.exe UI will still be the same as it was in V4 if that helps?

The default for the web app is the way it is because it's much more likely the user is setting up some type of recurring recording when they hit 'advanced' (rather than setting up a one-off recording)

Not to flog this horse if it's really dead, but I too would like to be able to change the default Record Once.  I only use the web UI to schedule recordings and the majority are actually one offs.  It looks like there's at least 2 of us who fall into that camp and I asked for it over 1 1/2 years ago but never got a response.

What specifically are you changing that the 'record once' button doesn't suit?

+1 to change to Record Once, if this is a poll. It is also consistent with UI clients which never raised any question.

Same reason as the OP, folder selection. I record movies to my NAS.

A lot of what I record are sports events and I often change the default post padding under the "advanced" button.
