EPG only loading data till tomorrow morning

Hi,

I am running version: Version: 5.2.6.220206 on windows 10

I have noticed that the EPG is successfully running its data till tomorrow morning.

Checking the logs, I can find that all is working without errors.

This is the log entry for the last epg update run. I can post the full log privately if needed.

So not sure where to start troubleshooting if the log is giving a successful response.

Any ideas?

Is this using xmltv source with IPTV? It's very common for IPTV services to only provide 24hours of listings. In fact, I've only come across one IPTV provider that have more than 24 hours of listings.

Thanks sub. I checked the provider, and you are correct. In my case they also have a max of 24 hours if your lucky. Its a pity because this will make it impossible to do any scheduled recordings.

If you subscribe to Schedules Direct you can get up to 2 weeks of programming. You'll need to reconfigure each channel to access schedule direct. There's also EpgGude.net that provides xml files with up to 1 week (they claim up to 2 weeks but most of the channels I've seen only do 1 week). Again you'd have to configure each channel to use the xml url they provide for you. Both services have an annual fee but well worth it if you want to have a decent tv guid for scehduling recordings. Then there's Titan TV which is free and requires using the NextTVPI utility (more info in the NextPVR wiki Utilities section). It requires a bit of work to setup and align the channels between NextPVR and Titan TV in order to use it, but its a great online tv guide with epg listings for about 2 weeks. I actually use all 3 methods (Schedeules Direct, EpgGuide, and Titan TV).

Paying for cheap services like epguide.net is questionable, instead of pirating IPTV they pirate the guide data. Stick with Schedules Direct.
