I downloaded it and haven't yet tried it, but the email you receive with the key mentions it can't convert MPEG2 to divx without a $9.99 add-on. That's certainly cheap, but not as free as one might think.

I downloaded it but I didn't get my key yet. How long did it take for the key to land in your inbox?
