Kodi NextPVR PVR Client Addon

So here's a weird one. My Kodi NextPVR PVR Client addon will suddenly no longer load channels on three Raspberry devices and two Android devices when they previously worked. However on two older Android boxes (not been used for a while)  it still loads channels just fine. All the settings remained the same but I notice that the two older Android boxes that work correctly have older versions on the addon. The working addons on the older Android box's are version 2.4.13 and the version not working on all other devices is 3.3.18.

All devices are on the same LAN, connecting to the same PC and with the same settings.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Send the zipped NextPVR logs and we can have a look.

Note that those are Krypton and Leia versions and not even the most current version on those platforms. For those you would need to running NextPVR v4 which I no longer.

It turns out you are running v5 so that old Krypton support is as-is.

I do see connections from you RPi but there is no specific problem in the logs. I suspect the issue is you haven't filtered out your IPTV and are trying to feed 5000+ of channels into Kodi. We could confirm that with Kodi debug logs, but there wouldn't be much point until after you reduce the channel count.

I have tried deleting most of the channels but that's not working. In any event I fail to see why it worked before with the same number of channels and works now on older versions of the NextPVR addon.

After cleaning the channels out on the server you also need to clear the PVR database on the Kodi side to do a real test. You are free to solve this on your own, but this has worked for others. Plus I would suggest that you aren't really watching all those channels.

In any case it is not really "working" it is taking about 1.5 hours just to import those channels on one device to finish Live TV startup.

Versions of Kodi all use different API for PVR, you shouldn't expect them to work the same. That is why you I posted Krypton support is as-is.

I agree I don't need all the channels however I've tried deleting a bunch of them on the server but they remain there after hitting delete.

That is why I said you need to go into PVR setting on Kodi and clear the PVR data. They need to be removed from Kodi and NextPVR. Typically you filter IPTV on import to only the groups you need, starting from scratch might be faster. I don't know this for sure I don't import lists like this.

Update: I deleted everything, reinstalled and saved about 100 channels. Seems to work now.
