You are going to need remove all the bad records that your custom xml created in the database. Hopefully you have a backup.

Does it make any difference if you explicitly ask for http://ip:8866/index.html (vs leaving the index.html off)

It does not matter if I enter http://192.168.107.93:8866 or 192.168.107.93:8866 http://pvr.mydomain.us:8866 or pvr.mydomain.us:8866 I get the same exact results. If I close the Window or restart the service everything is fine. It is just when I close the tab, not the window, and open another tab.

I still have all the XML files that I used to import them originally. I did look at your program and while it does have features mine doesn't, I still prefer mine -- no offense, I am not trying to reinvent the wheel, I know I don't have too. Mine is customized the way I want it including having a GUI. I have already started fixing it to add the correct meta data, including the additional data that version 5 has that version 4 didn't. In addition to creating the XML files I am getting experience with not only programming but working with XML files. However, I do see where I can get some use out of yours such as adding new information for recordings already in the DB

I somehow did miss the /index.html at the end. I am extremely tired.
