Advanced recording for something not in epg (yet)

I seem to have pretty short epgs, maybe only 24hours.

So I’m wanting to be able to use the advanced recording on a potential title on a channel.  When I enter In The key words is it % for wildcard?  Eg “Live WRC%”

But when I save the recording it says no shows found.  Which is correct.  But I want to record any upcoming matches.

The easiest way to do this is with the Search screen using the "Create Recording" button under "More Options". This gives you nice control over the search fields and lets you test it first too, which can be useful.

Otherwise you probably don't want an advanced recording you want a keyword recording, which does does default to a wild card. With the advanced recording you need to build you sqlite query, title like ....

Easiest approach is probably from the Search page in the web app, clicking that more options button

Oh weird, had no notification.

It was creating recordings, but getting an error when there was nothing currently in the guide that matched. I’ve got really short epgs for the iptv services I’m using (24 hours), I need to make a thread about that, as I dont seem to have any guide data 0:00 - 12:00 each day. Even though what is there seems to be right.
