Just to close this thread as I noted in another thread the issue is with Docker. In hndsight it is quite apparent that the discovery of HDHR devices via UDP wasn't working. Right now the HTTP interface works well but it will get less reliable for new devices and on some networks. It is not clear when that interface will disappear and I am glad SD are giving us some time to plan.
The real solution would have been to switch to host mode where UDP works. Combing through 4 different recent problems related to SD changes makes for fun times. Martin |
