My Hardware: Silicon Dust HD HomeRun Dual
Software: OS is Windows 8.1 PRO
Set up NextPVR for use this TV season as 8.1 support is ending along with Windows Media Center. Everything was working fine...until this week. No changes to my software or my hardware were made. No updates area available for Silicon Dust tuner.
But now I am getting records failing with an error saying: [Failed: No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.]
I read this mean you just need to stop and restart the service. I did this and scheduled a recording and it worked fine. But then about 12 hours later I tried to view LIVE TV and the NextPVR application crashed again. Just shows a white screen. I then stopped and started the service and it was working again.
But this is not something I can tolerate, having too stop and start he service multiple times a day, and hope it will be available when a recording is set to start.
Anyone have an idea on what the heck is going on?
