Easy UK Freeview scan channels question?

Im setting up NextPVR for the first time. I have a Tuner card installed. But Im stuck almost at the very first step:

When I use the scan channel interface, there are no listings in the drop down for UK freeview transmitters. Ive seen setup videos where they can choose their local transmitter from that list, but for me the only UK entries are two UK/Virgin choices.

I tried the Virgin choices, but it doesn’t find anything. I would try the all scans, but there are multiple ones. Apart from this option taking ages and pickup up weak channels I dont want it to, I don’t know which of those to choose.

How do I get the UK freeview transmitter choices to show up in those menus, which I see in the lot of the setup demonstration videos?

NB: I have an aerial on my roof which picks up over-air (not satellite) freeview in the UK. The cable is working as I can view TV from it when plugged in elsewhere.

Perhaps your tuner has multiple tuning modes and you are selecting the DVB-C tuner not DVB-T.

I have a quad tuner card and it shows 8 entries on the devices pages. I tried the first few, but didnt twig that some ended in C and some in T.

The Ts further down the list seem be have the full list of transmitters.
