Yeah, it'd probably be useful to see those notes.

Here are the needed files that are zap2xml specific. Personally for the one application I don't see it worthwhile, especially as there is still other configuration needed and there is no one here to support it. It is like zap2xml for Windows some people can figure it out but others ask for support

The other issue you see is the same as with python, you often need to use pip to install dependencies to make it work, so this by no means will mean that other perl scripts will run

Code:
apt-get install make
apt-get install gcc
apt-get install perl
apt-get install libssl-dev
apt-get install zlib1g-dev

cpan install JSON
cpan install Net::SSLeay
cpan install LWP::UserAgent
cpan install LWP::Protocol::https
cpan install Compress::Zlib
cpan install HTTP::Cookies

Yeah, I might need to think on that. Didn’t really want to include things like gcc etc in there.

Not sure what that other guys problem is, but I’m also new here, new to NextPVR, and exploring how to properly use this on an Raspberry Pi 400 running Raspberry Pi OS.

I just added an XC server but the web player can’t keep up properly, It struggles and sometimes pixelates. I’m guessing I need to run KODI ? No guide information either unfortunately

I am also hoping Stalker portal support for servers that use MAC addresses for authentication can be implemented. It’s in all the major IPTV apps such as TiviMate and OTT Navigator and increasingly are being used on servers where I am from

If I can get the guide working, and Stalker support, I’d donate in a heartbeat !

Also I see you’ve got a Raptors icon and are from Ontario — I’m from Brampton and now living in Waterloo!

Cheers!

With the RPi as a source direct play clients like Kodi will absolutely be preferred. That is one reason I spent a bit of time getting the NextPVR server working with LibreElec, you can have a client and server that will work pretty well.

For IPTV H264 and AAC the web server might be able to keep up if NextPVR detects the formats. If you upload your logs we can probably see what going on. If you send the logs open a new thread and hopefully this thread can be closed and go away as a bad memory

Hmm, hit a roadblock with the NextPVR add on in KODI. It completes the spinning icon at the top right of the screen but nothing gets imported. Empty channel list, nothing to select. Nothing in the guide. I’m guessing it didn’t interface with 127.0.0.1:8866 for some reason? Which still is working fine in the browser.. strange..

I created a new thread as you suggested, thanks mate

Go to settings>LiveTV&PVR>(switch to expert settings) select "clear data"

I have an install on a pi and one on a android tv box, the pi I have to do that every time I change or add channels. On the android box (this one is kodi 20) a reboot is all it takes.
