Can't update M3U

My source doesn't offer an M3U since this post. I've been patiently awaiting for this release to access newly added channels. I'll have to do a destructive playlist update and recreate all my recordings from scratch. Thanks sub for your quick response.

Are you sure your source doesn’t provide m3u?  
Try taking your xc url,port,username and password and put the this url format.  It might work: Http://url.com:00/get.php?username=xxxx&...x&type=m3u

As far as I knew but your post had me question it. I was using the url you suggested before the provider terminated M3U for XC. After contacting the provider I learned today the termination of M3U was temporary (2 months) but they failed to notify that it was re-implemented. So I changed back to M3U and now can renew the EPG easily again.

Maybe in the future. For the most part though - it makes no sense to auto import 20,000 channels of garbage. You're just going to end up with a massive database, and slower system. Most people just import the 50-100 or so channels they really want, and you can't do that if you're auto-importing whatever garbage channels are in your m3u source.

I import probably about 50 channels out of maybe 600. The PPV and NBA channels update the channel names to match the event. It isn't a deal breaker but would be nice to have it auto update once a day.

All 600 would get imported that is the issue,.
