Hello

I just did a fresh install of the newest version of NextPVR on a brand new Windows 11 machine. This PC is just a desktop that I watch TV on occasionally so I am going to just use the NextPVR Desktop client to replace my old WMC setup. Just a couple of minors issues:

1. For some reason when I open the desktop client, the graphics of the skin are all blurry/pixelated at full screen and I can't seem to figure out why. I checked and I happened to still have an older version 4 installed on a Win7 machine that I tested at one point and it's clear as day in that version.

2. For the EPG, I am using SD and I have channel logos in the proper folder, but they do not appear in the guide. Also, can the desktop app's guide show the genre colors at all? It works on the web app but the desktop app guide isn't color coded at all. It's just black boxes with some grey ones.

Well I'm not sure what I even did, but I couldn't even get the client to run all of a sudden. It just kept crashing. I completely uninstalled it and re-installed and now my picture is perfect. Problem #2 still the same. No logos or colors in the grid .

As noted on the wiki there is a download icons button on the Settings Guide web page

I've already used the button and the logos have been downloaded to the proper folder but they are not appearing in the guide.

Your logs didn't show you clicking that. If you have clicked it try hitting ctrl-f5 in the browser to reload them and if they don't reload send the logs again. There was something odd about the channel mapping and we might need to see the database.

Are these clear QAM or cable card?

I will attach a new log since I have reinstalled the software since the first log was posted. After the reinstall I clicked the button and logos are in the folder. I am using HD Homerun prime tuners with Cablecards through FiOS if that helps.

Had to reboot the computer for something and once again I am back to the desktop app completely refusing to open. I right click on the tray icon and hit desktop app and all I get is the window opening blank white and sitting there and if I click the window it's "not responding". Not sure why it's working fine one minute and the next it's doing this.

When you say the icons exists, are some zero bytes. There are lots of SSL errors downloading icons.

The NextPVR.exe issue could be related to the channel icons too.

Ah ha! You are right on the money. Every single one of them is 0kb. I never actually clicked on any of them. I deleted the contents of the folder and redownloaded and same deal. Still 0kb.
