Just re-imaged my PC with a clean windows install. Did a clean install of NPVR  v7.0.3.250920. I noticed it was released today.  Installer failed to create the NPVRdata folder  in C:\users\public\npvr data.
I cannot connect to the server web page or npvr.exe at all so there are no logs to send you. The folder in C:\Program files\NextPVR looks like it installed OK, but no data folder. 
AllI see is a grayed out icon in the system tray. 
Uninstalled and reinstalled several times with same result.

The system image I have was used to install prior versions of NextPVR so I know it is good in case you ask. 
Please check it out.

The installer shouldn't didn't change with this release. If you don't have a C:\temp create one and then zip and send C:\temp\install.txt Also what folders do you have in C:\Users\Public

Here is the install.txt file.

Like I mentioned before there is no folder installed in C:\Users\Public. I does not exist. I never got installed during the installation.
Just the stock folders that come with Windows 11, that's all.

Thanks, are you saying there are not other folders in C:\Users\Public?

What do you see if you type

echo %PUBLIC

There is a C:\Users\Public folder. The stock windows folders are all there. There is NO NextPVR data folder present. It did not get installed.

It doesn't get installed by the installer it gets created when the service starts. However there is an issue with that so for now you will need to manually create C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\

Below was my issue. Creating the C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\ solved this issue for me.

Glad I found the forums. I am having the same issues with the current installer. It does not create the C:\users\public\npvr folder and will not answer web requests at port 8866. When I check with netstat I get: TCP [::1]:52702 JMH-Home:8866 SYN_SENT

I installed a few weeks ago on another machine and did not have these issues but may have been a previous version.

Is there a location where I can download a previous version and try it? Thanks

I expect sub will have a patch for Windows users soon. It is not the installer.

Old version are not available.

Just added a NPVR-data folder manually like you suggested to C:\Users\Public\  and re-ran the installer. Now there are files and folders populating the NPVR-data folder that I added manually and
looks like the server is up and running now. Now I can access the web app and desktop app. Still need to finish setting up. Let you know how it goes.
Thought I was losing my mind there for a while!

Ken, thanks for bringing it up. You didn't need to reinstall, you could create the folder and restart the service.
