Hello All,
Here is the situation and my way of thinking, and it should work but first tests did not work.
Situation:
I am running my NPVR server with 4 OTA ATSC tuners at my location and working great.
A relative is running a NPVR sever with OTA ATSC tuners in another state at his location.
I have channels he doesn't and he has channels I don't..... we would like to share them with each other.
We have already set things up so that the servers can be accessed from outside our local networks.
He can access mine and I can access his in kodi, but changing between the 2 in kodi all the time is kind of a pain.
I did some searching on exporting the M3U channel list and got them but when I try to create an M3U channel on the other end I get transcoder exited error when I try to view it.
Here is what I used for setting up the M3U channel..... https://hosting ip address/port*passcode/channel info pulled from the M3U export
Is there something I am missing or am I going about this all the wrong way?
We are using noIP as a dnns.
Hopefully I have covered everything needed for the help I would need. If I forgot something please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
F.
