Yes, I do intend to add this some time in the next couple of release. I wanted to get the transcoding a little more reliable first.

the recording transcoded ok. sound and video right. the only thing is comclean didn't do it's job, the commercials are marked but not removed from the transcoded XviD.

You need to create and or edit a ParallelProcessing.bat file in your GBPVR directory and put comskip %1 and comclean %1 in that file and make sure it isn't set to run comskip in the config application and make sure you don't have these in your PostProcessing.bat file.

You just lost me there Cubsfan, there is no postprocessing.bat file in my GBPVR directory. You say NOT to config comskip in the processing tab of config tool?

GB-PVR doesnt auto run comclean. This is just supporting utility written by someone else. If you need to run this, then you need to roll you own solution. I suspect you may have problems with this utility since it generates MPEG2 files with broken timestamps, so I wouldnt personally recommend it.

GB-PVR does have a couple hooks that may help you do this if you need to. GB-PVR will auto run either ParallelProcessing.bat during a recording or PostProcessing.bat after a recording if these files are found.

Yes exactly. No PostProcessing.bat file is okay just means you don't have to worry about it. Then in the config menu make sure you have it set to NOT do comskip. Then in the GBPVR directory if there is no ParallelProcessing.bat file create one and if there is one the just edit the existing one but put
comskip %1
comclean %1
into the ParallelProcessing.bat file and you should be good to go.

Thanks Sub, what should be in the processing .bat file to make this happen?
Cubsfan, just those 2 line go in the .bat file? I will have to create it because there no post or parallel bat files .

Another question, why use a ParallelProcessing.bat file? if there are 2 recordings back to back, will the two processes have time to do their jobsbefore the start of the second recording?

It's called multi threaded. If you don't care to have comskip run while your recording is recording then put it in the PostProcessing.bat file along with comclean. I would just make sure they are both in the same file whichever batch file it is.
