Sure Brett anything you wish sharing is helpful. I know I might need to special case your unusual out of spec. use case (priorirty > rowid) anyway.

Here is a a video of the priority enhancement at work. https://imgur.com/a/U4nj5Lo using the sample pkscout provided Note it does also include a PR that I created for Kodi that ads the Timer Priority sort option. I am not sure of Team Kodi will approve that, getting PR changes on PVR is especially difficult. If it is added I expect it will be Omega only.

One thing you will note is that I do move to the lowest point in the groups. I wouldn't recommend this for each recording but certainly when specific shows are a problem you can focus on them.

I have similar behaviour with BrettB's sample it is much large so a little hard to follow. Once you have a lot of files in each bucket you might be better off fine tuning with web option, of using the highest choice more often.
