sub Wrote:deeznuts, I've logged into http://labs.zap2it.com with your credentials. You havnt added a channel lineup. You need to login and hit the 'Add Lineup' button, and tell zap2it your area code and what broadcaster you use, and enable/disable the channels in your line up.

OH! Ok, well I just followed GB-PVR Quickstart directions, which I had to use Google to find, and it didn't mention that. Is there a guide somewhere for this program? It wasn't easily accessible from the GBPVR main site. Thanks a whole bunch sub, hope everything goes smoothly.

Hi, Sub:
I have trouble to add subchannels using labs.zap2it.com. for example, 2-1 and 2-2 will only get EPG of 2-1 and left 2-2 empty.

Thanks.

UPDATE: EPG updated perfectly. Wow, GBPVR has made my comp a little sluggish. It keeps my comp at a constant 40-50% cpu usage even when I have it disabled? Weird, my comp is pretty fast XP64 3000+ at 2.7GHz and 1GB of ram. I will have to investigate that but so far it works good!

Thats not normal. It should be using near zero CPU when you're not doing anything.

What process is using the CPU? If its GBPVRRecordingService, can you post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file. If its GBPVR.exe, can you post the GBPVR.exe.log file.

Ok here they are. Man it is slow. I just booted up, and it was stuck at 100% for like 30 minutes. It was around 50% the GBPVRRecording Service, the other 50% was svchost.exe, the system one. Nothing would work. Then I rebooted now it is at 50-60% all GBPVRRecording service.

Think I am going to do a fresh install of XP (I have an image so it's fast) then reinstall GBPVR. See if that works. But first I will wait for your word. You are a great help, thanks!

It doesnt really look like anything is happening in those logs. Maybe you should try going back to your image.

Yeah. Everything works though, and the recording is good. So thanks a bunch for getting me on track, it's much appreciated!
