I am thinking of doing the same, but translating not to German but to Italian.

In summary since this is a long thread, for NextPVR.exe and UI clients go to the wiki https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/pla...-languages and download the generic file and you can start looking at the translations. Once you are done I can upload the file to wiki for others.
I did write a script that takes NextPVR 3 format translations I found and merges them with generic.xml and here is the result if you are interested in starting with something in Italian https://pastebin.com/pUeuh7z3 Additionally the web server can now be translated. The file is in the program directory wwwroot/languages. There is an initial Italian.json file that can be reviewed and you can submit changes here for sub Note attachments need to be zipped. Also there will need to be updates to the generic translation for updates over the last year or so. In the past, I used this software localization service that did the job for me in a few days. If someone needs smth like this, these guys can help with everything. This time, I want to learn how to do it by myself to boost my skills. |
