Different Errors depending on channel (no tuner found/transcoding Error)

Hi there,

I'm running NextPVR on Ubuntu.
The Hauppauge DualHD tuner works fine on all Channels in Koffeine and was working properly as well in NextPVR till a recent reboot.

I have 6 Singapore DVB-T2 channels configured in NextPVR.
NextPVR discovered the channels through a channel search

- Channel 1 & 2 (Channel 5 and Suria) are working fine
- Channel 3 to 6 throw different errors

I either receive a "Streaming failed (transcoder exited)" or "No tuner available for the requested channel" error in the web gui.

The log files attached including 2 successful streams and failed streams with both errors above.

Any help how to further troubleshoot this is appreciated.

It looks like your conf files may be different or are bad. Could you zip up and send /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-DVB-T-channels.conf and /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter1-DVB-T-channels.conf and I will suggest what to do next.

Also did you scan two times? The recommended approach is to scan one tuner make sure all channels are working then copy to the empty tuner.

looks like the rest of the channels are missing :-(
shall I delete the configs and start the scan again?

Update: I deleted the channels and ran the scan again.
- 2nd time it found all but saved only 4 in the config.
- deleted again, ran the scan again - this time it did not execute the scan and the tuner became unavailble
- Rebooted the server
- 3rd scan, found and saved all channels. Works now

Just strange it did not do that immediately.....

Yes, I can't explain why the scan and the conf file are different, perhaps the multiple scans you tried originally caused an issue.

- enter each tuner and delete the channels with the trach can.
- scan tuner 0 and make sure all the channels work if not zipped and send the logs.
- open tuner 1 and copy when prompted.
