It kind of looks like it's doing largely the right stuff now. Can you try this one? Adds a couple more lines of logging.

I think this version gives sub more of a clue and a need for a spell checker. I don't remember this before.

PaulMc, on the Settings->About page of the web app, can you press the Ctrl key on your keyboard, then click the 'Enable Verbose' button that appears, then do the EPG update again, and post the logs? There is a few messages relating to the data it sees during the EPG update.

There is a few messages relating to the data it sees during the EPG update. I did what you asked and reran the EPG grab. I didn't retune this time. The number of channels has reverted back to what I expected when I did this in the previous update to the dll. Log file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V1nfZ25...sp=sharing

Guys on Astra 28.2 Freesat you are not seeing duplicate channels. These are regional variations. There are up to 8 different regional channels for each channel.

We understand that there are bouquets, but I don't really understand the comments on where PaulMc is seeing them displayed during the EPG scan. Certainly with spot beams scan can easily cause mixed results but these EPG runs on 11428 should be similar.
I think there is some problem in that many channels including Open TV channel seem to be in there maybe marked as Freesat so they miss the frequency based scan when they probably shouldn't. Right now it is good think avoid all those individual scans. Martin

Hi there, I'm aware of the regional "duplicate" channels but this was a set of a repeating group of channels that really were duplicates. I'm not sure what happened but it ended up with around 1200 channels where there should only have been around half that. I've since deleted everything and retuned which now gives me what I think is the correct number. |
