I'm looking for recommendations for a replacement for this PCIe quad DVB-S card. I have to reboot the server every 5 to 7 days when it stops working. I don't think it's an NPVR problem, as restarting the service does not fix it. The driver dates back to 2014, and I have to disable Memory Integrity to get it to install, so I suspect that it's a software issue.

There is a TBS-6904 SE which looks like a drop-in replacement, has anyone had experience with this? Or is there any other card that you can recommend?

Thanks!

Nothing? Oh well, I decided to risk it and ordered a TBS-6904 SE a few weeks ago. This was a very easy replacement, just copied the lineup for the old card and then delete the old tuners. The hardest part was getting the four cables connected in a very tight space.

So far it's been running for over two weeks without a glitch, so it has solved the problem with the old TBS card. Sadly, channel changes are still very slow, with a lot of flickering/stuttering.

Last count there are over 20 completely different clients for NextPVR so really without logs and more information there are no problems.

Oh, I wasn't looking for help to fix the problem. I was pretty sure that running a 10 year old card on a new PC with Windows 11 was a recipe for trouble Smile I just wanted someone to recommend a DVB-S card that they were familiar with.

Thanks!
