NextPVR worked great on both TVs.

OLED48A1PUA fw: 03.40.70 webOS: 6.4.0

and

27LQ6252-PU fw: 03.3385 webos: 7.31 

There may be some audio lag on recording playback, but playing live HD TV and recordings works well.

I have the app on a LG B7 and C2 OLED TV's. Both have been working good so far.

The NextPVR app installed on my LG model OLED65B9PUA TV.  It works well in my initial testing and I'll be using it as my primary client over next few days.
