Got caught up with another problem in NPVR hence the delay in responding. I’ll outline it in a separate thread.

Ok I ran

sudo nextbuild=beta dpkg -i nextpvr-helper.deb

Just to be clear what’s the next step.

Any OTA EPG update should now use cross platform code. Dvb-s and SAT>IP should populate opentv when set as Freesat guide

Just carried a full scan of Astra 28.2E. Selected the Freesat option from the dropdown box when selecting EPG source. 11778 V and 11428 H (that actually should be 11426 H) automatically ran but unfortunately 0 EPG updated. Logs attached.

Honestly - I'm not overly surprised. It was very substantial changes I made, and not being in that part of the world to test with live signals, there pretty much zero chance I was going to get right first go.

I do see some OpenTV errors go by in the logs, which I'll need to dig into (later), but on the positive side I do see it saying "OpenTV saw 258730 listings. This means it successfully saw and parsed that many listings, but it sounds like it's not been able to work out which channels the listings go with.

Actually weirdly it does look like it got listings. If you look below, for each channel you'll see whether it was using the freesat or opentv listings, and how many listings it got. It looks like it has successfully found both freesat and opentv listings.

I noticed that. How come it didn’t update the channel EPG for each channel after it found all those listings. What will it take to inject these EPG data into each channel listing.

Try that install again. I've updated it. I'm hopeful I've fixed the one remaining issue stopping you from getting listings.

If it doesn't work, post the logs and I'll take a look.
