VPN is new information, and since I am not seeing any Internet connections I am going to leave you on your own to properly configure your VPN and firewall. There is nothing wrong with how NextPVR is working now is PIN is not 0000 anymore.

How come rebooting the PC solved it.

Speculate it cleared a cache. Am having similar issues and may need to follow what was done here to make it all work.

What cache? There are many reasons why a reboot would have fixed it sometimes with UI clients that is the only solution. If you can't be bothered posting logs you are really just spamming the forum.

I am trying to get this working remotely by switching off the wi-fi on my phone. It looks as though it is getting through okay because there is stuff in the log.See log attached. Can you see from the log what's going wrong?

Anyone?

I was away at the weekend, on someone else's home network, I could access the web-server from my laptop, so it looks like my port forwarding was working properly and data was coming back correctly, but the android app is still not connecting.

It's connecting and failing sorry I don't know how sub's app works.

If you want to try uidroid for Android we can see if there is a problem with connecting in from Android. Best to configure it on your LAN then add the IP manually on the settings screen (long OK or double tap on the main screen). It's not a good phone app though.

Looking at the encrypted info in the logs, it actually looks like you're using the wrong pin number.
