Multiple Instance of NextPVRServer

Is there any documentation regarding running two instances of nextpvrServer running on one server on different ports that have independent versions of NPVR-data folders or independent versions of npvr.db3? Majority of the sources are IPTV but the server does have a tuner card and I would like it shared across the 2 NextPVRServer instances if possible.

It is not supported because of the high risk of failed recordings and the installations difficulties, and unnecessary support issues during and post install so it is not documented. I posted this https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid585127 as a hint since it is possible but all I will do to support it is wish you luck.

Not knowing why you would need this, if you use Kodi as a client you can restrict access to certain channels, scheduling and recordings if you wish. Recordings could still be made available via the Kodi video library with the source controlled by NextPVR.

While you could run multiple instances using environment variables etc, you definitely wont be able to share the tuner between them. (they wouldn't know when the other was intending to use it, so you'd get failed recordings eventually when it's in use in the other instance)

do you mean that we are able to block/disable/hide specific channels in Kodi?
