SAT>IP tuner does not work with NextPVR

I am still running NextPVR Beta on my test server collecting Freesat(UK) programme IDs ready for when I change to the NextPVR Freesat EPG from the current EPG Collector generated EPG. It seems to be working well apart from occasional errors. At 12:58 this morning a recording was terminated 7 minutes early as the tuner seems to be wanted for another recording! I run 2 minutes pre Padding and 5 minutes post padding. There are 3 of the 4 SAT>IP tuners are available to NextPVR. I think I may have seen all three in use at the same time but have seen three recordings on two tuners several times.

We'd probably need your npvr.db3 file to see if the 3 tuners are merged correctly. All recordings were on tuner #21 over the logs.

There is also an issue with OpenTV that sub needs to look at

Enclosed is my NextPVR test server database file. Running  6.1.6.240217. Is there a later version available?

I use tuner 4 for live TV from TVheadend. So tuner 4 had NO channels under NextPVR. However one time I tried to use live TV from TVheadend but it failed and found NextPVR was using Tuner 4 and it had the same channels as the other three! I again deleted all tuner 4 channels! It seemed to be working correctly and at the end of the NextPVR boot sequence showed just the three tuners!

You will have to remind me of the software to download the full Mux as it will be years since I last used it.

No sub hasn't released a newer public pre-release.

I see I gave you the link earlier https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid590011 for the same problem. I think that is easier than installing sub's software.

The database has 7171 on 3 channels. Not sure why it didn't let the first recording use post padding and start on another tuner.

I have TSCapture from several years ago! It wont run on my test server but does on my PC. It seems to recognise the SAT>IP tuner but does nothing and sometimes wants to scan terrestrial frequencies!
I have downloaded FFMPEG v7. What is the IP address //192.168.0.199:554 in your option!

However "EPG Collector" has a Transport Stream dump option which I will try in the morning! How long do you need. I will put it on my Google Drive!

I think the ffmpeg with NextPVR works but that would be your SAT>IP server so satip://192.168.1.225:554

I did a 60 second dump of 11778000 mux at 28.2 via "EPG Collector" using SAT>IP tuner because it was already installed and just worked without any problems and saved it to my Google drive. There is a .ts version at 252 Megs and a .zip version at 150 Megs.

If there is a problem with it I will try the ffmpeg that comes with NextPVR!

OK I think that should be good, and I see the same TS continuity errors. Most of the channels don't try and match data from OpenTV for some reason but that could be because I don't have good Freesat data.

I dont know the significance of the Open TV data and was not aware I was using it!
