UIdrood subtitles always on

How do I get UIDROID to start with subtitles always on?  Am using it successfully to play TS files recorded but no subtitles. When I play the same file with VLC can turn on subtitles.

Did you go to the settings screen and set the option to "Enable Subtitles". If so unfortunately with closed captioning it might not always start with the correct cc1-4

here are my log files.  since i am really bad at not including them.

could not find the SETTINGS tab in the UIDROID. am using the MEDIAX apk file on my FIRETV cube 2.  Sideloaded that months ago as mentioned in nextPVR forums.

Note:  just changed transcode to MP4 files in NextPVR settings to see if that will make a difference in my newer recordings with MP4 instead of the TS files.

There is no generic UI client setting screen but there are notes that show you can get it with Long DPAD Centre in uidroid.

Thank you thank you thank you. That was it martin !!!  You are the man. Subtitles now on via long dpad settings.
