Download M3u and XML from NEXTPVR

Can you help me understand why I'm seeing below, but I'm able to connect to Nextpvr.

That 'connection refused' is the type of behaviour seen with firewall software intercepting/blocking access to NextPVR.

If the request had got to NextPVR, but it was unhappy with something, you get back a differenty type of error (either Invalid Session or Not Allowed). At the very least, if the request had made it to NextPVR, then it will be in the logs.

Yeah, absolutely no sign of those requests making it as far as NextPVR.

So I'm on the local machine, firewall disable, and antivirus.
Why would the request not make it to nextpvr
I can get to http://localhost:8686/index.html

but not : http://localhost:8866/service?method=channel.m3u


What am I misssing?

If you stop the NextPVRService and from the NextPVR Program folder in the command line run NextPVRServer.exe do you see any error messages?

If this is Windows, you've probably got Edge (or maybe Chrome). Can you try the url there to see if it makes any difference? I can understand firewall blocking external apps (like curl/jellyfin), but it doesn't make sense to me why you can see the web app but not that url.

So I stopped service.
