EPG shows blank

Hi there. Whenever i update my EPG there appears to be nothing in the guide. The funny thing is that it seems to update ALOT quicker now after pressing update. is there password issues???

Are you using zap2it? In such case, has your account there expired, perhaps?

I renewed it a few days ago. From the zap2it message board it looks like Zap2it is down at the moment.

Interesting... I'm finding listings that start around Thursday... it only a few days that are blank. Anyone else finding this?

I've noticed that my EPG is not automatically updating (though GBPVR is configured to do so and the logs report that it is). So, every couple of days I go into config and manually update the EPG data which works, but of couse doing this is not especially convenient and I've missed recordings as a consequence of the EPG data falling behind.

You might find it works better if you switch the update time from 3am to something else. I had the same problem and this fixed it for me. The guys over at zap2it said the best time is during the day since no one else is doing it then.

A lot of users have recently had problems at 3:00am, and changing it to a different time of day has helped. We're think maybe there is a bit too much going on at zap2it at 3:00am.
