Scan misses a channel that I can watch with an HDHOMERUN program.

Seeing them listed doesn't mean I got it right. The client has its own settings with a right click. You probably will need to install the LAV 32 bit decoder. There is a link on that settings page.

I have successfully set up Schedules Direct for both of our channels and I am able to record both of them. One remaining problem is in the NextPVR Client. In the NextPVR Web App, both channels are shown when I look at the schedule. In the client, only the CBC channel is shown. Ideas?

There are more thank 10 NextPVR clients but I assume you mean NextPVR.exe Are you viewing the all channels group in the guide?

Also did you copy tuner 0 to tuner 1? I didn't do that in the version I sent you.

Thanks. I copied the channels from tuner 0 to tuner 1 in the "web app" and everything looks fine there. In the NextPVR Client that is installed when the NextPVR server is installed, I only see the Guide for CBC (8.1) although I can use the right mouse button to locate and watch NTV on channel 21.1. Is there some configuration item that doesn't use the data that I copied from tuner 0 to tuner 1?

Works here, so make sure you have groups set to All Channels.  (Ctrl-G)  I configure a custom wider guide but that won't be the issue

I am very pleased. Now on to the next phase: making it wife-friendly. Intention is to replace Bell-Aliant phone-TV-Internet bundle with basic Internet. That should save more than $50/month. I can stream sports from Prime and NOT pay one red cent for hockey.

I will no longer have to tolerate a Bell Set-top-box with a mechanical HDD that overheats while recording two programs and watching another.  My ancient Dell laptop has an SDD.

I may write an article for local newspapers or at least present the possibility as a cost-cutting hack for seniors. I realize that the npvr.db3 file includes your work and probably my Schedules Direct id & password (simple to change after making a distributable copy of the db3 file). I'm a fair bit from distributing anything and will ask your permission before distributing copies.

Unfortunately NextPVR has specific information for your HDHR so it isn't easy to distribute. There is no private SD data though.
