Remove subtitels from teletext

Hello again,

another issue for my setup.

In TVHeadend i have a filter to remove any Teletext stream (in some channels i have a subtitel teletext stream).

It's possible to add a similar filter in nextpvr?

What is the problem with having the teletext stream? You don't have to turn it on and they don't take much data.

There is no such option in NextPVR. As Martin says, I've never seen them as a problem since you're not required to use them, and they don't add much size to the recording.

The problem is that i can't disable this stream. Some channels send the subtitels over teletext and i don't need this, this is disturbing :-(

Which player are you using? Can’t you just turn off subtitles?

i use jellyfin, and yes i can disable subtitels, but not the teletext...the subtitels are teletext subtitels!

I would take it up with Jellyfin since it is their bug. I don't think they have a way to set the teletext page etc so is probably part of their ffmpeg process.
