Finally got a Full ts capture of U&Eden Mux (TSCapture exception on startup, but continued and had to replace tuning info as it was out of date)

Hopefully this link will work for a week.

It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives Huh

Thanks I loaded that into Linux with a fresh scan and NShared is parsing it with the same with the bad data on the same show so sub show be able to check it. For a user in the US with an HDHR you XMLTV file makes no sense.

Also since you don't have and UpdateEPG.bat file there is no way to now how uk.xml is being updated.

It occurred to me that you are probably using an HDHR emulator to get IPTV into NextPVR so I looked more carefully

When I compare the number of listings read to the number of listing available the source is likely outdated since 90% are skipped. We would need a copy of uk.xml (zipped and an external link if over 2MB) to confirm. See this one of the channels ran out.

Actually no, i had HDHR added, but to debug this I've removed those devices as I'm no longer using them. I only have one IPTV tuner, I use IPTVBoss to create the m3u and XML for the channel list.
Uploaded here is the latest logs after a forced EPG update and HDHR removed, after I had IPTV boss update m3u/xml.

You'll also see here in the images, screenshots taken seconds apart how data IS imported correctly, the desktop client displays the channels with no issue, the web client does not.

All of this started with version 7.

The link you provided was to all.xml NextPVR is using uk.xml but that probably doesn't matter. What is happening is your EPG source has XML data with junk that NextPVR is not encoding for JSON properly probably the source script scraping the data is bad.

Code:
<desc lang="en">Christina Trevanion and Will Kirk help a mum and daughter sift through family heirlooms. Some jewellery is worth an unexpected sum and Will saves furniture from going to landfill. Category: Leis"])</script><script>self.__next_f.push([1,"ure hobbies/Factual S1 E5</desc>

Personally I find this potentially dangerous since it would be a way to embed dangers scripts into the browser.

Don't confuse issues I don't expect json processing changed. Ask the site that providing poorly scraped data to fix including junk until sub has chance. If you stayed on V6 it would never be fixed.

Something changed, the day i upgraded it disappeared. So are we saying the json processing is different in the desktop client than the web?
