Default timer type

Hi

I connect to nextpvr via kodi, but when setting a timer it never seems to work for series

This seems to be because it defaults to 'Recording Repeating (Guide)' rather than 'Recording Repeating (All episodes)'


It there a way to default to this selection ? Somehow I think the Guide time setting stops it from recording correctly

Send the NextPVR logs and Kodi debug log after trying a series recording and I will have a look.

I am trying to understand the context of your question. I am not planning on adding a way change the default but I'd like to understand what you are trying when you want to record all episodes and why you say it isn't working.

Scheduling a future recording is fine.

So - Using Kodi I add a timer - Match of the day - 'Recording Repeating (Guide)' - This is the default

The rule appears on Kodi, though no episodes highlighted for record

I go to nextpvr website - Recurring - Match of the Day - BBC - Daily 22:30 - 2340

I go to nextpvr website - Pending - Match of the day is not listed

Programs fail to record until swapped to all channels all episodes

I had to swap to Mega as they wouldn't attach. I'll do some experimenting - Wondering if it's the channel assignment

No - It appears to be the 'daily' timeslot part that makes it not appear in recurring

The time matches the guide time

Some testing on the website actually shows it isn't a kodi problem.

The daily timeslot recording type doesn't appear to work for me, directly initiated from the website, either

It's just that the website does not default to that option
