I also live in Phoenix AZ & have the same issue. If there's any way I can help resolve this, Let me know. (more logs etc)

There are 2 locations for nshared.dll. program files\nextpvr & program files\nextpvr\client

Any update on this, fellas? It's been over a week of silence again. Thanks!

Martin's away on holiday for the last week, and I've been been busy with my day job.

I think Martin had managed to reproduce it in his environment, but we didn't have time to work through it before he went on his holiday.

Just back this afternoon (to 70cm of snow and grateful that a kind neighbour unexpectedly used his snow blower on our driveway) but the test builds sub gave me before I left didn't resolve the problem.

The issue can arise on any ATSC with data on back to back channels but it will depend on how the broadcaster is sending the data, so it is not easy to detect. Even when it is fixed given how bad the ATSC data is here and the need you guys have to scan 4 times a day, Schedules Direct is by far the preferred way to go.

Should I reach out to ATSC engineers here locally (I know a few I have reported issues to in the past) to request they clean up their data? If so, do you have any guidance for how NPVR likes its data?

I expect your data is typical ATSC some stations with multiple days, some 12 or 24 hours, some less and some with none. Unlike DVB which always using the same PID for the guide data the ATSC standard is quite different. It's not dirty data causing the issue I see it as a sync issue when NextPVR tries to reuse the same tuner when it changes frequencies.

I've a similar issue in the UK. All channels are fine except Channel 4 is empty. What's the latest file(s) to try?

The problem being discussed here is not the same as the we discussed here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...pid=599079 specific to Kod. Besides ATSC scans aren't like DVB scan either so in no way is this thread similar expect it refers to EPG.

The patch I linked you to in in the other thread should be fine for the Kodi file specific to the \0 problem. I feel I keep asking you to try the same thing. That patch my not work either and I explained I we might need the database.

In repsonse to the schedules direct comment above: I'm also in Phoenix & have the same issue with nextpvr. My Hauppauge Wintv10 software has no problem filling in the tv guide info for the channels that are missing info in nextpvr. I believe it also pulls it from the broadcast stream.. Plus it worked fine with version 6.
