I downgraded to Version: 7.0.0.241105 and everything on that one works fine.

@Metroid you are somewaht contradicting yourself, since this thread of yours was about that previous version https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=65940 There is a timing issue of some sort causing this issue that sub needs to look into and turning off thumbnails and timing files doesn't work for everyone.

I think it might be to do with the new mediainfo wrapper, where it checks the duration of the new file after transcoding (to double check it managed to convert the whole file).

I suspect this updated dll will fix it.

I can confirm the patch also works on my computer. But transconding to a smaller 'size' of video does not work (anymore). There is a stream in 1920 format that I want to transcode into 480p . but the mp4 still is in 1920?

Are you sure that changed? The goal of the "streamable conversion" is not to make smaller files but to make web compatible streams. I am not sure if all those formats were ever fully supported on various platforms, I know I never tested them with or without thumbnails.

I think if you want smaller files you would need to use post processing
