I've started experience weird behavior when watching recordings. If I frequently pause/resume, that seems to trigger the issue. Playback will become erratic (audio is ok) and I can no longer pause/exit/stop the playback. If I kill the client (yauiclient in this case), the NPVR tray icon is gray and I cannot use the web browser to get the logs until I reboot.

I was watching this:
D:\nextpvr\KPAX 530 News\KPAX 530 News_20250326_17301800.ts

nrecord.log.1 (the issues started before this time if that helps)
2025-03-26 18:32:34.502 [DEBUG][5] ClientGetActivity() returning:
{
  "level": 4,
  "action": "pause"

}

You can see that the logging just stops at 2025-03-26 18:32:35.705

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

Perhaps try with the default skin since it looks like the server crashed or went to sleep. If you are using path subtituion it could sleep. Otherwise check the event viewer.

I suspect it has something to do with my sending multiple keystrokes with my remote (i.e Play with Ctrl+B (to dismiss the OSD)). This coincides with the issue showing up, it just took me a while to connect the dots. I've removed the changes from my remote configuration and will report back once I'm confident the issue is resolved.

That could definitely be a problem. Keystrokes must be processed sequentially by UI clients to maintain state.

I still have the pause/resume issue, which I think is related to sending the Ctrl+B after pause/resume. So once the next release is out, I'll retest it.
https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid598037

Ctrl+B is working ok after a Skip forward/back.

My only concern is that the service seems to crash/hang with the Pause/Ctrl+B combination. If that's a concern, it should be easy to reproduce...
