Hi! I think Zap2it site is gone, so that means I won't be able to use the epg guide on nextpvr. Heres another sife that I found, but I can't seem to use it for nextpvr. https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/grid-af...ml?aid=lat

I know that the zap2epg script for Kodi still works using the Gracenote URL so I guess it was unwriiten but that the real problem is with the zap2it PERL download script. You should really contact support for it (yah right) There are zap2it scrapers on GitHub you can probably make the same name change and work temporarily.

Also consider moving to subscription Schedules Direct since the NextPVR support is great. It is well worth a cup of coffee a month. Actually one Starbucks coffee is much more than that. With scraping based methods you will always be wondering if it works.

Is there any other free parsing to xml program that works on any of these sites - tvguide, titantv, newsnation?
zap2xml no longer works because zap2it is gone permanently:

Yes there are but personally I am not wasting much of my time on the discussion when SD is cheap and easy. I am disappointed that zap2it may disappear since I use it as a reference to help users here, but certainly one of the reason they could is because of apps that misuse their data like zap2it. I am not convinced it is permanent. The Gracenote link above accepts the zap2it credentials.

For scrapers maybe consider Tempest https://github.com/K-vanc/Tempest-EPG-Generator https://github.com/K-vanc/Tempest-EPG-Generator but I found it hard to configure when I tested it here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=63586

You may want to investigate what is available on the best "free" XMLTV sites https://epgshare01.online/epgshare01/ but these sites come and go.

Hopefully sub will get ATSC scanning working on Windows again, but data is very disappointing after using rich Gracenote metadata.

For me, the Zap2it program still works, since the original site (tvlistings.zap2it.com) is dead. However, there's another site using the same credentials, namely (tvlistings.gracenote.com). Since the Zap2it program is compiled with the address tvlistings.zap2it.com as the target, I modified the Windows HOST file so that it redirects the request to the site tvlistings.gracenote.com (54.148.50.239). And now it works.

So, add to the Host file:

54.148.50.239 tvlistings.zap2it.com
