Your verbose logs were for two overlapping streams which doesn't help analyze the problem, so let's focus on keshet 12. The keshet 12 streams being requested were 1280x720 not 1024x576 as was the sample from a few days ago. However that did give me me more to investigate (focusing on mako playlists)

It looks like the requested playlist from the CDN mixes up direct downloads and file based URL. Here an example of what is is being sent for one segment depending on the playlist being delivered https://pastebin.com/sYNMFvwg

I don't see any log message that NextPVR is even downloading from the CDN which is odd in itself so I don't know what/if host it appends for those /mrouter URL's I am guessing the URL with /ProfileManifest removed. Unfortunately you edited the source link which doesn't help either. That could explain missing segments and bad timestamps.

Regarding the unrelated issue of the NVENC decoder not working going back to post one are you still using you modified config.xml settings? If not do you have Avoid transcoding when possible enabled I don't see it needing to transcode that stream.

NextPVR might be requesting 1280x720, but the actual stream is 1024x576 — could that be causing the issue? I’ve switched the stream to their 720p version, so I’ll know in a couple of hours if that resolves it.

Also, I didn’t have “avoid transcoding” enabled earlier — I’ve turned it on now.

I had reverted the config settings after you mentioned they aren’t used for encoding or recording.

As for NVEnc, the error about not accepting level 4.1 could be related to how the parameters are passed to FFMPEG. I tested FFMPEG v7, but that didn’t help. Not sure if it’s related, but the logs also show a deprecation warning:

Code:
[FFMPEG]: -vsync is deprecated. Use -fps_mode

OK the file I got from direct download from your now redacted URL was 1024 x 576 but the recording you provided was 1280x720. Also the URL in the playlist seem to indicate NextPVR was recording 720p if you look at the segment name index_3400_1280x720_01165.ts from the verbose logs.

I really feel those different segments are the main issue but the timings in your 1920 sample are pretty much perfect.

If you want sub to look at the NVENC default setting open another thread. I don't have one on Windows to test and it is lost in this thread anyway.

That make sense. Thank you again Martin for all your support. I'll start another thread for the encoder. I'm hopeful that the 720p and/or 1080p streams are better and fix the issue.

Well the 1024x567 URL you provided did produce good streamed recording with a perfect timing file so hard so the issue is probably not just the resolution.
