I have noticed the signal strength for BBC1 is only 32, whereas every other channel I have checked is between 70-75.

This is using a SkyQ dish with Kathrein EXIP418 sat to ip server.  I was getting some signal breakup on BBC1 so checked and noticed this large difference between BBC1 and all the other channels.  The signal has sorted itself out now (no more breakup) but the signal strength in the server web interface is still showing as 32.

The Lock true level in NextPVR is 83 compared to 180+ for other channels.

Any idea why BBC1 is so much lower than everything else?

Are you sure you picked the correct BBC One frequency for your region? Is it the same as your Sky Box?

Good point. I will have to double check them. Pretty sure I picked South West which Is my region but worth checking them all for the best signal. Thanks.

I renamed the BBC1 that I added to just BBC1 HD so not sure which one it was. I was sure it was the south west one. I have just added sw again plus a load of other ones and they all have a signal strength of over 70+. ?
Thanks for the tip

I am still occasionally getting problems with the signal breaking up even with very good signal strength and quality
From my Kathrein Servers web interface Strength = 74 and Quality = 100, from NextPVR  Lock True Level 189, Quality 15

The colours are also a bit over saturated, compare the image from my SkyQ box and my Sat-IP stream viewed on my Beelink GT King Android box via the NextPVR Kodi addon
I think this might be down to my Android box though as the colours don't seem so vivid on my PC web browser.  This is only with live TV though.  My movies and TV shows streamed from my Jellyfin server with the Kodi Addon are not over saturated at all

Neither issue is specific to NextPVR since as I noted earlier since it simply saves the raw stream. I'd be happy to look at a recording sample to see if there are missing packets causing the video breakup.

Perhaps play with deinterlacing options in Kodi and also compare with Kodi for Windows. If you need help reach out to the Kodi or CE forums if you use CoreELEC.

Thanks Martin
I have uploaded a sample here

Deinterlace settings seem to be either on,off or half.  It was set to on so I have just set to off

That's a terrible capture lots of missing packets, not much we can do with that. Can you send the zipped logs too, I don't understand all the PIDs that are being received.

Here you go.  Like I say very intermittent thankfully.  But I don't really understand why it goes from perfect to this
